Sometimes I Get Drunk At Night |
when one drink turns fast into five. This website is for discovering new music. If you find a band you really enjoy, go to their show, buy a shirt, or do something to show your support. Bands don't make much money from album sales anyways. However, if you just download their music and that's it, then the band doesn't make anything at all and they probably won't make anymore music for you to listen to. The music on this blog is for promotional uses only. Vist the original SIGD (450+ Artists!) @ http://sometimesigetdrunk.blogspot.com |
We will begin preorders for the new Peace Be Still 7” EP on the same day as the You’ll Live, Cheyenne, Two Humans, Peace Be Still split goes up. Look for a bundle deal!!
These two records and the William Bonney record are all coming out around the same time. If you previously ordered Good Vibes and want either of the 7”s, just add a note to your order saying you have ordered Good Vibes. I will remove the shipping charge from the other order so you get all the records at once and don’t pay extra for shipping.
Go on our bandcamp tomorrow to listen to a couple new songs from this EP, the band and myself are really excited to share it with you! I feel spoiled that I have been listening to it bunches.
Last summer, we put out the A Speck of Dust | International Sampler 2012 that exhibited bands we put out and our friends from around the world. We are currently taking submissions to be on the winter sampler! If you are put on the sampler, you will not only get exposure online on our bandcamp, but the sampler will be sent out for free to people that order our records. If you are a band outside of the United States and want to be on this, send and e-mail to: sigdrecords@gmail.com
IMPORTANT. I posted about this before and used an e-mail address that I found out does not work. If you sent one previously, please send to the new one: sigdrecords@gmail.com
Hey guys, if you are in or around Grand Rapids, you should definitely check out this show I helped set up. It will be the first time Peace Be Still play in Michigan; it should be a fun night! If you are going you can RSVP here.
Also, if you live in Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus or anywhere around the midwest, PBS is trying to get some dates around this show to make a little tour out of it. If you want to host them in your basement or just help out, send an e-mail: sometimesigetdrunk@hotmail.com
If you aren’t around Grand Rapids, then you will be happy to know Hop Along has just started on their full U.S. tour culminating in their Fest debut! If they are coming to your town check ‘em out, they rock!
Kind of Like: Tera Melos, Algernon Cadwallader, Dads

These guys are from Albany and are really nice, sad dudes. They put on a really great, sad time at their apartment above a bar called Not the Bar Downstairs. If you ever get the chance to play a show there or with them in general, go for it. Go to their bandcamp to download.
We are stoked to announce that Rough Trade Records will be stocking our first release in their East London store.
Come next month they’ll have copies available in-store, so London folk, you can get your hands on it in person. They also did an awesome write-up for the release. Rad!
