Bands don't make much money from album sales anyways. However, if you just download their music and that's it, then the band doesn't make anything at all and they probably won't make anymore music for you to listen to. I decided to go for a limited edition shirt for when we go to Pouzza Fest in Montreal with Peace Be Still.
This is not meant to be like, “ah-ha you guys suck”. As a Red Wings/hockey fan, I have a lot of respect for the Montreal Canadiens organization and its rich history. I feel like we have a similar style of play as well. Watching the habs fall to last in the Eastern conference was a shock to me, so I could only imagine how bad things were in Montreal, a city that takes a lot of pride in its team/hockey.
The “Ceci n’est pas…” is a Rene Magritte reference, just cause the print of La Trahison de Images hangs in my room and it was the first thing I thought of when drawing inspiration for something for Montreal.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
